PRESS RELEASE
Washington, DC. – Steve Gordon announced today that he will be leaving the professional campaign financing field – a sector he helped create – effective December 31, 2014. “It’s with a sense of accomplishment and great excitement for the future that I want to devote much more attention to Total Spectrum/Steve Gordon and Associates and Total Spectrum/Arizona.” Both firms use advocacy, communications, and political engagement to help their clients achieve their legislative and regulatory goals at the both the federal and state level – specializing in tax, transportation, financial services, healthcare and trade.
“I started political fundraising almost 37 years ago in Minnesota with former Senator Rudy Boschwitz and most recently, served as National Political Director for Senator-Elect Cory Gardner. In between, I have been honored to work with incoming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senator John Thune, Senator Thad Cochran, and Senator John McCain. My work also included the 2004 Bush-Cheney campaign, former Assistant Senate Republican Leader Jon Kyl, former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole, former Senators Kit Bond, John Ashcroft, Jim Talent, Wayne Allard, Slade Gorton, Steve Symms, Alfonse D’Amato, Kay Bailey Hutchison, Pete Wilson, and Lauch Faircloth. I also had the good fortune to work with Congressman Jason Smith and former Representatives Jo Ann Emerson and Vin Weber.”
“After helping Senator-elect Gardner in one of the country’s most contentious races, I want to pull back and refocus. I will continue to provide advice and suggestions and support Senator-Elect Gardner and others – but now as a volunteer and as a friend. Moving forward, my primary focus will be to concentrate on client matters for Total Spectrum/Steve Gordon and Associates and to promote Total Spectrum/Arizona.”
Total Spectrum/Arizona was developed to help Arizona interests succeed in Washington, DC. The team works with local policymakers and federal delegation members tailoring government relations strategies that fit today’s changing political environment.
