Doug Lee is an entrepreneur and an experienced Tribal leader. He is an enrollee of the White Earth Nation, where he has served since 2018 as a delegate to the Minnesota Chippewa Constitution Convention and was the Delegation Chair from 2019 to 2021. He has been a leader on the Total Spectrum Green Team that developed plans for White Earth to invest in clean energy production. Doug is the owner of White Clay Industries and the co-owner of SimpLee Sweets. He is also a registered Minnesota hemp grower and processor and has 20 years experience in the construction industry. He is a graduate of the White Earth Tribal & Community College, where he served as president of the student body and was on the Dean and President’s List.
