Total Spectrum LLC offers strategic advice, counseling, economic and legal reporting and analysis to companies, industry associations, governments, and other stakeholders on matters involving international trade, customs, and foreign affairs. We cover policy, negotiations, legislation, law, regulation, and dispute settlement with a focus on the U.S. government - executive branch, Congress, and independent agencies - international organizations like the World Trade Organization, OECD, and foreign governments. Total Spectrum has extensive experience in advocacy, particularly with the House Ways and Means and Senate Finance Committees, the Office of U.S. Trade Representative, and other key trade agencies (Commerce, State, USDA, Customs & Border Protection); organizing and leading industry coalitions to achieve common policy objectives; and developing and implementing effective communication strategies.

The Trade Practice Group is chaired by Total Spectrum parter, Erik Autor, a Vancouver native. Total Spectrum has the background, expertise, and relationships in both Washington and Canada to advise clients on a wide variety of U.S. - Canada issues impacting business on both sides of the border, including trade, finance, tax, energy, and customs matters.
