paul pic websitePaul Hatch has extensive experience advising Fortune 500 companies, large privately-held businesses and non-profit entities, and creating and executing legislative, analytical, and political strategies. He has represented clients before Congress, the Executive Branch and both state and local government entities.

Prior to joining Total Spectrum, Paul served as the Director of Government Relations for a large international law firm. He previously served as Senior Consultant for the largest government relations firm in Washington, DC, where his focus was obtaining federal funds for his clients’ projects as well as securing and negotiating contracts with federal, state and local government entities.

For the past ten years, Paul has helped a diverse group of clients solve problems with the Executive Branch and also has helped them to take advantage of opportunities afforded by a wide range of federal programs. Paul has represented clients and promoted issues both on Capitol Hill and in the Executive Branch. He has also represented clients and involved in Congressional investigations and hearings and has assisted Presidential appointees through the Senate confirmation process.

For over thirty years, Paul has been a manager, consultant or strategic advisor to countless presidential, senatorial, congressional, and gubernatorial campaigns.

In 1991, Paul served as Finance Director, Treasurer and Advisor for the gubernatorial campaign and political operation of former Utah Governor Mike Leavitt. In 1994, Governor Leavitt asked Paul to serve as Executive Director of the Republican Governors Association (RGA) in Washington, DC. Paul provided gubernatorial candidates in all fifty states with political strategy, and helped them plan and execute fundraising events that raised millions of dollars. During his tenure at the RGA, the number of Republicans leading their state governments soared from 17 to 32 governors.

Paul also served as the governors’ liaison to the leadership in Congress. He established valuable relationships with the leadership and members in the United States House and Senate, and has represented several current and former members of Congress.

Following his service to the RGA, Paul served as the Chairman of the Republican National Commitee’s (RNC) Victory Program as well as Deputy Director of the RNC’s Political Division. In these capacities, he continued to expand his relationships with key political leaders, party activists and elected officials at the local, state and federal levels throughout the United States.

Paul majored in finance and economics at the University of Utah College of Business and received his law degree from the University of Utah’s College of Law.
