Gov. Matt Blunt Names Gregg Keller to Missouri Humanities Council
Associated Press - May 7, 2008
Jefferson City, MO — Gov. Matt Blunt is giving his former chief of staff a spot on a state board whose members don’t need Senate confirmation.
Ed Martin, 37, left the governor’s office in November after a rocky year. Martin was involved in a controversy over the destuction of certain government e-mails, among other things.
Blunt’s office on Wednesday announced Martin had been picked for a three-year term on the State Park Advisory Commission that actually started May 1.
The governor’s office also announced it has named Gregg Keller to the Missouri Humanities Council. Keller was Sen. Jim Talent’s campaign manager in 2006. That panel’s members also don’t need Senate confirmation.
